Shinobi - NES

Shinobi is an NES action-adventure game from Tengen based on the ninja combat series. The game centers on a Master Ninja armed with throwing stars and martial arts skills in a mission against The Ring of Five.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Side-scrolling action focuses on ranged shuriken attacks, close combat, and precision movement through enemy-filled stages.
• The mission includes rescuing hostages while fighting mercenaries, karate thugs, and martial artists.
• The Ring of Five serves as the central enemy force, leading to battles against five evil Ninja Assassins.
• Stage settings include urban interiors, mountain backdrops, and fortress-like areas with varied enemy placement.

This NES version carries the Tengen branding and ties back to Sega’s Shinobi arcade-era ninja action series. Its hostage-rescue structure and assassin showdown give the cartridge a clear place in late-1980s side-scrolling action design.
