The Karate Kid - NES

The Karate Kid is an NES platformer tied to the martial arts film franchise and released under the LJN brand. It follows Daniel-San through hazard-filled stages where fighting is paired with timing, reaction, and discipline-based challenges.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Side-scrolling martial arts gameplay uses punches, kicks, and jumps to move through enemy encounters and obstacles.
• Stages take Daniel-San from the streets of L.A. to the back roads of Okinawa and other unusual areas.
• Training challenges include catching a fly with chopsticks and splitting blocks of ice by hand.
• The game emphasizes more than combat, mixing action with obstacles that test timing and quick reactions.
• Developed by Atlus, this NES release sits within LJN’s movie-licensed game lineup.

The game turns Daniel-San’s martial arts training into a mix of action stages and focused challenge sequences, giving the movie tie-in a structure beyond straight fighting.
